Hays County Emergency Information

Hays County Local Health Department today reports 103 new cases of COVID-19, along with two individuals released from the hospital. Epidemiologist Eric Schneider said the County’s total of lab-confirmed cases is 1,551. Hays County has 1,157 active cases.

There are also 51 additional individuals now considered recovered. The total number of individuals considered recovered is 389.

The number of negative tests is 5,748. Schneider is awaiting results on 71 tests. Twelve people are currently hospitalized. The County has had 51 total hospitalizations.
